1993 MetDerm® founded in Mumbai, India with an aim to provide Electro-Polishing Solutions on Stainless Steel to the Surgical and Pharmaceutical Industries.
1994 Electroless Nickel Plating Facility added.
1995 Upgraded technology by adding in Mechanical Polishing Machinery to efficiently polish and de-burr delicate parts.
1996 Completed a batch of 25,000 kg Electroless Nickel Plated Fasteners within 3 months as per the BVQI requirements.
1998 Grit Blasting Facility added.
1999 Started ENC Coating to provide uniformity of chrome deposit on intricate components.
2000 Started Sulphamate Nickel Plating to serve the Semiconductor / Electronic Industry.
2003 Set up of an additional Plating Facility at Vasai.
2005 Started Xylan / PTFE/ Solid Film Lubrication Range of product line to serve the Pharmaceutical and Food Industry.
2006 First company in India to introduce Composite Coatings such as: Nickel-PTFE, Nickel-BN, Nickel-SiC, Nickel-B
2007 Commissioned the semi- automatic Electroless Nickel Plant at Vasai Facility, located in the outskirts of Mumbai.

2008 First company in India to achieve Titanium coloring for medical and dental devices. Started manufacturing chemicals for coloring of Titanium.

First company in India to have achieved critical tolerances of EN plating on Mg for defense.
2010 Started another facility at Bhiwandi with Sulphamate Nickel and Electroless Nickel Plating to serve the Semiconductor / Electronic Industry.
2013 Commissioned PLC based thermal spray molybdenum coating for automobile industry. First company in India to introduce: Composite Diamond Coating® (CDC)
2015 Commissioned new semi-automatic EN Plating for Barrel and Rack components at Bhiwandi.

Introduced new range of engineering coatings called Metlon® and NipoDerm® to cater upcoming products.
2016 First company in India to introduce Nickel – Boron (ENBO) coating in 2016. Meets AMS 2399, ASTM B607 and AMS2433C.
2018 Upcoming: MetDerm® introduces LubriDermTM – Dry Film Lubrication in India. Its advanced surface modification that offers lowest coefficient of friction (~0.03) for metals/plastics.
